Bun Buds is an independently-owned restaurant dedicated to providing fun, delicious food and great service to our guests.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Kitchen Shift Leader to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking and wants to step into a leadership role in our kitchen operations. You will train alongside the owner and other staff to ensure everything runs smoothly during your shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and prepare menu items to order
• Open the restaurant independently, setting up the line by opening time
• Ensure food quality and presentation (and customer service) meet our standards
• Support kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and collaboration
• Help manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen with the help of checklists

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices
• Ability to work independently and with a small team
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Passion for food and a willingness to learn
